How Does Our Program Work?
Summer STEM Academies
Join us this summer at our Young Engineers Club,
where we engage kids in building, tinkering, and creating ... the underlying skills of understanding the world around us .... making sense of structures, electronics, bicycles, computers, and more!
During Young Engineers Club use items as basic as craft sticks and straws, to complicated electronics such as Makey Makey, and robotics such as Sphero. The goal is to develop students' problem solving skills through creating and collaborating with peers. Students are encouraged to think outside the box and come up with diverse solutions to real world problems. STEAM has never been so fun!
STEM Camps offer kids the ability to learn about the world around them while developing important Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math skills.

Spark curiosity and engagement with our youngest engineers! Kids at this age are extremely interested in the world around them, and using their hands to discover basic engineering principles. Campers work collaboratively to design super strong structures using everything from household items to the most beloved of engineering toys, Legos!!! Basic robotics principles are taught through Wiggle Bots, enabling them to create unique bots to solve problems and have fun. Kids also become mystery investigators through our Breakout Escape Challenges, as they attempt to solve mysteries focusing not only on STEM skills, but utilizing teamwork and clues open enough locks to survive! Many other fascinating and exciting activities await your Junior Engineers.......see you this summer!
Take engineering skills to the next level! Our apprentice engineers are ready to dig deeper, using their creativity and design skills to build structures that can withstand the most extreme disasters as well as begin using basic design engineering to continue testing and improving their structures. Robotics come to life with our Sphero BOLT bots, as kids not only program and drive bots but create challenging courses to test their coding skills. More mysteries await through Breakout Escape Challenges as students must work collaboratively to decode evidence and open locks to survive! Engineers continue discovery using the Design Engineering process to create raceways for cars and rockets for space, incorporating STEM skills throughout each challenge. Engage your Apprentice Engineers.....see you this summer!

Are you kids ready to be a Master?? Our highest level of engineers put their skills to the test in a series of challenges that incorporate all aspects of STEM, with a heavy focus on problem solving. Kids are encouraged to think outside the box as they master the design engineering process at each level, and push themselves to consider the real world applications impacted by their designs. Additionally, kids are engaged deep into the world of LEGO robotics! They'll not only learn the basics of LEGO coding, but focus on solving missions on a First Lego League competition table, including mastering the art of designing and engineering attachments to complete missions. Watch your Master Engineers grow into creative problem solvers.....see you this summer!
Coding and Gaming Camp
Power up your coding skills and create fun and challenging games at our Coding and Gaming Camp! Explore the fundamentals of coding through a variety of platforms, such as Scratch, Roblox, Minecraft, LEGO, Sphero, and more! Use your coding skills to create imaginative games online that will challenge your friends and help you become a master coder. You’ll also learn how to code and build a variety of robots, followed by constructing obstacle courses that each robot must navigate using accurate, precise, and creative coding. Coding and Gaming Camp culminates with a Battlebots tournament challenge, where you’ll rumble against your friends to land in the winner’s circle!
